Amber, Serpentine, and Coral Necklace This one-of-a-kind necklace features lime green serpentine round disks alternating with natural amber free-form nuggets. Natural coral barrels with sterling silver accents highlight the serpentine and amber beads. The amber and coral are as nature finds them, no color enhancements in the coral and the amber is in its natural raw form. The serpentine disks are approximately 1 1/3 inch round. The necklace is finished with serpentine rondelles and brown bone disks. The length of the necklace is 27 inches and the clasp is a silver lobster. However, a silver toggle clasp is available. A note about the serpentine beads: Nowadays the term 'new jade' is used for translucent green serpentine. This serpentine has been favored over jade in Europe for over 400 years. There is a story of Rasputin, a monk serving the Russian Tsar Romanov, who was granted anything he wanted as a reward for saving the life of the Tsar’s son. He asked for an entire dinner service made of serpentine stone. This is truly a unique necklace.
