Kristian Spring is a local artist that has worked for Down to Earth Jewelry for the last three years creating new jewelry designs. She has now decided to add her glass and clay art onto the website. Kristian is still attending the University of Texas in Arlington and is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in ceramics and glass. Her work contains a distinctive Asian flare as she has always had a fascination with the Asian aesthetic. Her ceramic sculptures primarily consist of landscapes of Japanese style gardens. Her glass work utilizes many different techniques that include glassblowing, kiln fusing, and casting.
